About The Position

Technology/Communications Section and is responsible for providing systems administration and second tier support as part of the LEITS Operations team. The LEITS Operations team installs, implements, maintains, and supports distributed computer systems, including hardware, software, and communications components. The team also supports the department’s desktops, laptops, and related peripherals at field locations.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of distributed processing operations, procedures, and equipment.
  • Knowledge of the Service Now Portal.
  • Knowledge of information security best practices.
  • Knowledge of IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL} concepts.
  • Experience in configuration and use of Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager.
  • Experience in configuration and use of Carbon Black.
  • Experience in configuration and use of mobile device management solutions.
  • Skill in In deploying and administering Windows based systems.
  • Skill with enterprise deployment solutions· for desktop operating systems.
  • Skill in remotely troubleshooting and resolving technical incidents.
  • Knowledge of and skills in troubleshooting and administering of Windows scripting techniques.
  • Skill in the removal of malware and recovery of system data.
  • Ability to develop training programs related to distributed systems components.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities, and assignments.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate work assignments.
  • Ability to focus on getting things done.
  • Process development, implementation and improvement skills.
  • Teamwork and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply technology solutions to business processes.
  • Effective written and verbal communications skills including the ability to communicate technical data processing information between peers and staff.
