About The Position

Amentum is currently recruiting for a Systems/Policy Analyst to join our team at the Pentagon, Arlington, VA to support our Department of the Army, G-3/5/7 Operations Readiness and Mobilization Support contract. Duties include: Review and analyze Warfighter Mission Area Protection Domain to support portfolio management of the Protection Domain information technology investments. Monitor Army Protection Division owned information technology system Army Portfolio Management System records to ensure they remain updated. Maintain and update Protection Domain Information Technology Investments. Perform research that supports building Army positions on issues related to Emergency Management Communications. Manage the yearly update to AR-525-27, DA PAM 525-27, and recommendations for DODI 6055.17. Including coordination for review and publication Army wide. Coordinate, review, and track policy updates and requirements for the Emergency Management community. From DOD, sister services or other Federal entities such as Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) or The Army National Incident Management System (NIMS). Provide the Government with a monthly written status report of capabilities-based policy documents for EM systems. Initiate, coordinate, monitor, and communicate status updates daily for all EM-related SACO, JACO, CACO, Secure Internet Protocol Router (SIPR) ETMS2, Non-Secure Internet Protocol Router (NIPR) ETMS2, and Correspondence and Task Management System (CATMS) taskers until complete. Provide the Program Manager with written recommendations to ACOMs, ASCC, and DRUs that articulate requirements and integrate capabilities. Coordinate with working groups in support of the HQDA EM programs. Perform research that supports building Army positions on issues related to Emergency Management Communications. Provide staff support for administrative functions to ensure accurate and timely responses (incoming and outgoing) to SACO and JACO office tasking, routing, tracking and updates in ETMS2.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • At least seven (7) years of related experience required.
  • Senior staff experience required
  • ACTIVE CLEARANCE LEVEL REQUIRED: Top Secret w/ SCI eligibility (Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a clearance)
  • Detail-oriented with excellent technical, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Experience on the Army/Joint Staff and/or Major Army Commands in Policy.
  • Proficient in planning and execution of working groups.
  • Must have the ability to work within Government-provided software packages with emphasis on MS Office products, for example, Outlook, Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Must be able to think critically and apply analytical methodologies to raw data to present clear and precise recommendations.
  • Ability to focus on Mission requirements while tracking multiple competing priorities.
  • Require minimal supervision in the fast-paced, critical environment of the Army Headquarters.
  • Must be proficient in the Enterprise Task Management Software Solution (ETMS2) (formerly Task Management Tool).
  • Ability to clearly articulate analysis through both oral and written communication.
  • Ability to provide executive, technical, and administrative support to senior leaders.
