Imagine what you could do here. The Exploratory Design Group (XDG) is seeking a Systems Modeler Engineer to help us bridge the gap between theoretical physics and engineering reality. We are a diverse team of computational scientists, device physicists, and hardware engineers working to create technologies that do not exist yet. DESCRIPTION We are looking for a "technical utility player”: an experienced physicist or engineer with a strong mathematical bent who can adapt to whatever challenge the day brings. One month you might be modeling thermal noise in a novel sensor; the next you might be writing high-performance C++ code to simulate a complex system. You don't need to be an expert in everything, but you must have the fundamental physics intuition and coding skills to dive into new fields and solve problems that strictly hardware-focused or strictly software-focused teams cannot.
