Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems Sector has an opening for a Systems Model-Based Engineering (MBE) CAD/PLM Tools Engineer (2/3) to join our Model Based Engineering Tools team of qualified, diverse individuals within our Engineering department. This position is located in Melbourne, Florida . This position can be filled at a higher grade based on qualifications listed below. This position is contingent upon funding. The MBE Tools Engineer leverages prior engineering design/analysis experience to support Model-based Analysis (MBA), Model-based Design (MBD), Model-based Manufacturing (MBM), and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) initiatives related to engineering tools development. The candidate works independently to uncover and resolve issues associated with the development and implementation of Engineering Tools and exercises considerable latitude in determining technical objectives of the assignment.
