About The Position

Join Our Team as a Systems Engineering Intern - Summer 2026. Apply your classroom-learned skills to a program supporting the defense of our country. GDMS has an opening for a Systems Engineering Intern to join our team. The position provides an opportunity to work on projects that support some of our nation's fundamental defense services. GDMS employees work closely with esteemed customers to develop solutions that allow them to carry out high-stakes national security missions. As a Systems Intern Engineer you'll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for the full life-cycle Systems Engineering of an integrated cross-discipline (mechanical, electrical, controls, software, etc.). The selected candidate will work with collaborative teams on various technical projects associated with our core mission. Requirements

• Thorough understanding of engineering technology.
• Enrollment in an accredited degree program in Systems, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related scientific or technical discipline.
• Preference for a standing of sophomore or higher.
• U.S. citizenship required due to the nature of work.
• Eligibility for access to classified information.
