Position Overview The Systems Integration Test Lead guides the integration tester the functional testing activities ensuring applications work as expected and issues are clearly reported through appropriate channels. The Integration Test Lead will work closely with project stakeholders, development and business/UAT teams to ensure test scope meets requirements resulting in quality hardware and software integrations. The job responsibilities include designing the functional testing of various systems and identifying and eliminating errors in the way they work. The candidate will design, develop, build, support, and administer the testing process.

  • Knowledge of various Test Environments (TE) and the ability to configure them.
  • Design engineering solutions to test and evaluate systems, equipment, and devices based on established engineering principles and in accordance with provided specifications.
  • Perform test estimation, scheduling, requirements traceability, execution and report results to the required stakeholders.
  • Collaborate and communicate with management, internal, and external testing and development partners regarding testing status, project progress, test results, and issue resolution.
  • Lead a team of other testers, internal and external testing partners to develop and execute reliable, cost-effective and high-quality test solutions for moderately complex products.
  • Represent the test engineering team for all phases of larger and more complex development projects.
  • Ability to work within an Agile development team performing the task of SIT engineer within the team.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the product architecture, design, processes, and tools required to perform their assigned design activities.
  • Prepare and run test plans including test cases and lab configurations.
  • Develop Engineering Test Procedures for subsystem and system integration tests.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Must possess an Active Secret clearance.
  • Ten (10) years of direct, relevant experience with the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and support of IT environments.
  • Experience in systems testing.
  • Requires eight (8) plus years of direct experience with IT systems infrastructure, implementation, and design.
  • Experience with HTML and CSS.
  • Must possess a Security+ certification.
  • General knowledge of some programming languages (Node.js, Java, .NET).
  • Ability to timely detect and eliminate errors.
  • Knowledge of various programming languages such as C#, Java, Python, etc.
  • Knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and automation testing tools.
  • Advanced knowledge of CI/CD.
  • Ability to work within a team-oriented, collaborative environment, develop strong working relationships across organizations.
