About The Position

You will be a Systems Integration and Test Engineer for Lockheed Martin's Missiles & Fire Control division. Our team is responsible executing Lab, Ground, and Flight testing to ensure successful development and deployment of critical systems. As the IT&E Engineer, you will be responsible for the following: Generating and executing sub-system and system level integration and test plans/procedures Supporting the preparation of test equipment and facilities required for test events Supporting Design Verification Tests (DVT) and Qualification tests, including Environmental Stress Screening (ESS), Electromagnetic Interference (EMI), and Functional Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP) for new hardware Support Failure investigations and resolution of hardware, software and test equipment anomalies that have occurred during system and subsystem testing Provide engineering evaluations of redesigns or upgrades to the existing missile This position requires the ability to travel domestically to support program test events and meetings. Requirements

  • Bachelors or Masters Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) or equivalent professional experience
  • Minimum of 3 years work experience with a Masters OR minimum of 5 years work experience with a Bachelors in any of the following: Systems Development, or Systems Integration and Test, or Systems Production Testing
  • Experience in technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, and formal system development/qualification/certification experience
  • Must have an active Secret clearance
  • This role will require travel to support test events at CONUS locations.

  • Experience with managing and tracking configured products for test including safety critical components
  • Experience with probability, statistics, mathematical modeling
  • Experience working in classified/access-controlled facilities
  • Ability to read and use technical schematics, drawings, software specs, and manuals along with other technical materials to resolve complex problems
  • Experience with requirements tracking and bug tracking tools such as DOORs and JIRA
