About The Position

You will be the System Integration, Test, and Evaluation (IT&E) Engineer to support a program's system integration and system qualification initiatives in Orlando, FL. Our team is responsible for executing sub-system and system level integration and tests for new and existing products. This position requires the ability to travel domestically to support program test events and meetings. We're looking for a highly skilled and motivated Integration, Test, and Evaluation (IT&E) Engineer to join our team. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, or equivalent experience in a related field
  • Strong understanding of test planning, test execution, lab operations, and test analysis principles
  • Must have a Final Secret security clearance at a minimum
  • MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Integration and Test (I&T) working with Hardware and Software on Sensor systems
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Prior demonstrated Lab ownership responsibilities related to 6S, operations, audit and inspection
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with ability to analyze complex test data and provide recommendations for product design improvements
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision
  • Strong attention to detail, with ability to ensure accurate and reliable test results
  • Empowerment to drive mutually beneficial solutions when a clear answer is not readily visible
  • Experience with test fixture design, test procedure development, and test script creation

Responsibilities

  • Generating and executing sub-system and system level integration and test plans/procedures
  • Supporting the preparation of test equipment and facilities required for test events
  • Supporting Design Verification Tests (DVT) and Qualification tests, including Environmental Stress Screening (ESS), Electromagnetic Interference (EMI), and Functional Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP) for new hardware
  • Support Failure investigations and resolution of hardware, software and test equipment anomalies that have occurred during system and subsystem testing
  • Provide engineering evaluations of redesigns or upgrades to the existing missile
  • Leading the Lab Operations to ensure compliance, 6S and regular audit/inspections
  • Working closely with the Engineering Operations Directorate to synergize our working relationship
