About The Position

We are seeking a Systems Integration/Test Engineer within ATLO OpTIC (Optical Test & Integration Center) in support of the CORVUS program. You will work shoulder-to-shoulder and partner with Program Engineers, ATLO Engineers and Subject Matter Experts to successfully Assemble, Integrate, and Test a flight system out of the Advanced Technology Center. This position provides the opportunity for exposure to a full flight test program on a small team and a fast pace.

Requirements

  • Experience working in an Operations or Test Engineering Team responsible for the AI&T of complex high value systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively apply lessons learned and best practices from Integration and Testing experiences.
  • Effective communications (written & verbal) and interpersonal skills.
  • Provide support to program management level briefings
  • US Citizen and ability to obtain a Secret clearance (current Interim Secret or higher preferred)

Nice To Haves

  • Current certification as a Certified Test Conductor (CTC) or prior experience working under a CTC Role.
  • Understanding of schedules and test flows designed for safety and efficiency of assembly and test.
  • Working knowledge of ATLO integration and test protocols, assembly and test approaches.
  • Experience working on an AI&T team during the early phase of a Program Life Cycle (e.g. pre PDR/CDR)
  • Provide inputs to program requirement interpretation, design for integration, developing integration & test schedules, producibility assessment, and MGSE/EGSE design and fabrication
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of CIPS as it relates to ATLO Operations
  • Understanding of standard ATLO tools such as SAP, VE-CAMS and Automation Framework (AF)

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and execution of the overall Assembly, Integration, and Test Plan
  • Support program leadership in planning and execution of detailed schedules
  • Develop Plans, Integration & Test Procedures, Work Instructions and/or required supporting documentation.
  • Review Engineering Drawings and champion Design for Integration and Test (DFx)
  • Assist in the design/fabrication of Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) and Mechanical Ground Support Equipment (MGSE)
  • Work with support organizations to prepare facilities and equipment for AI&T activities.
  • Communicate ATLO status to peers, leadership, and customers
  • Support leadership at Program Management Reviews (PMR), Design Reviews (PDR/CDR), and Test Readiness Reviews (TRR).
