About The Position

ALSAC/St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital – the fund-raising organization of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital – is currently looking for a Systems Integration Engineer IV in Memphis, TN as follows. Serve as senior technical expert and key contributor within IT to design and implement scalable enterprise data modeling, guide engineering best practices, and mentor peers while collaborating across teams to deliver quality data transformation and adoption of Data cloud and Digital Marketing technologies. This includes working with large datasets, integrating data from multiple sources, and preparing data for analytics and reporting using cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure and Salesforce Data Cloud. Responsible for the architecture, and the development of data processing software, data modeling, pipelines, transformations, related databases, and supporting infrastructure for all Digital Engineering. Duties include coordinating with ALSAC leadership and other professionals for the architecture and design of data infrastructure, running tests on designs to isolate errors, and updating systems to accommodate changes in technical and business needs. Position based in Memphis, TN and requires in office presence.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electronics Engineering or a related field and four (4) years of technical, analytical, systems and programming experience -- OR -- a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electronics Engineering or a related field followed by six (6) years of technical, analytical, systems and programming experience.
  • Experience must include four (4) years with each of the following: Programming Languages & Data Formats to include Python, JavaScript, SQL; Data Engineering and Architecture to include Data lakes, Data marts, ELT Tools, Data transformation, Data architecture design, Data Warehousing and Dimensional data modeling; Data analytics, Data-driven decision making, Data Engineering & Architecture - Enterprise data modeling, Big data processing, and Unstructured data analysis; DevOps tools, Scalable code development, Test-driven development (TDD), Software testing, Systems integration; and Planning and Optimization - Root cause analysis, Performance optimization, Business continuity planning, Disaster recovery planning, Emergency response planning, and Modern data frameworks.
