Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Summer 2026 Systems Engineering Integration intern. In this role, you will support the Systems Engineering and Engineering teams to integrate spacecraft design and Systems Engineering process including risk management, requirements and verification, test planning, operations planning, and system level analysis. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge in Systems Thinking and have familiarity with Engineering tools in at least one engineering discipline (for example: CREO, Thermal Desktop, ADAMS or Simulink). Must be a US Citizen.

  • support the Systems Engineering and Engineering teams to integrate spacecraft design and Systems Engineering process including risk management, requirements and verification, test planning, operations planning, and system level analysis
  • Actively enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program majoring in Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Math, or Physics
  • Engineering tools in at least one engineering discipline (for example: CREO, Thermal Desktop, ADAMS, Simulink, or other)
  • Demonstrate Systems Thinking
  • Have excellent Team or Customer/Management skills
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment
  • Experience with system design
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially excel
  • Model-Based Systems Engineering tools are a bonus
  • Practical Mechanisms or deployment design and test experience
