About The Position

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Systems Integration Engineer III to join our team! What You'll Be Doing: The Systems Integration Engineer is responsible for the design, development, and integration of security and monitoring technology solutions in support of a federal agency's mission-critical operations. This individual must possess a minimum of five (5) years of experience in system engineering, cybersecurity, and software/hardware integration, with expertise in secure system design, network security, and monitoring technologies. The candidate must have a strong foundation in secure system architecture, vulnerability management, and compliance with federal security standards. Additionally, proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python, C/C++, PowerShell, or Bash, along with experience in database management (PostgreSQL,MySQL, or SQL Server), is required. This position demands strong technical problem-solving skills, communication abilities, and the capacity to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a high-security environment.

Requirements

  • Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Systems Engineering, or a related field (or 5+ years of additional related experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in system engineering, cybersecurity, and system integration.
  • Proficiency in system design, network security, and security monitoring solutions.
  • Strong programming and scripting skills in Python, C/C++, PowerShell, C#, or VB.
  • Experience with database technologies: PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.
  • Hands-on experience with system hardening, patch management, and vulnerability remediation.
  • Knowledge of secure software and system lifecycle management.
  • Experience assisting in hardware and firmware integration for secure system deployment.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to work in fast-paced, high-security environments.
  • Experience supporting custom hardware integration for security applications.
  • Cybersecurity Certification: Security+, CEH, or GSEC.

Nice To Haves

  • Computer Aided Design experience and/or 3D printing experience.
  • Experience developing, maintaining, and operating U.S. Department of State Special Countermeasures Systems.
  • Experience developing, implementing, and integrating Department of State IDS and ACS solutions.
