About The Position

As a Systems Integration Engineer II, you will be using your skills and expertise to define, design, simulate, integrate, test, certify, and support cutting edge products and services. These cover a very wide range from state of the art mission payloads and electronic systems through highly integrated aircraft to orbital and space exploration systems. You’ll be responsible for designing systems to meet demanding customer requirements, developing and building complex systems integration labs to verify the design, and integrate a variety of systems together to create a seamless product for the customer. As a cross functional engineer, you'll perform system and component-level integration of new products and develop new integration processes throughout the product lifecycle. The ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance), Aviation, and Security (IAS) business area is a leader in ISR and aviation, it is a leading prime manned and unmanned aircraft systems integrator for innovative, high-performance ISR and aviation systems. Its end-to-end Command, Control, Computers, Communications and Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance (C4ISR) capabilities encompass design, integration, test, certification, ground/flight training and complete logistics support. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field of study and typically 2 or more years of related experience
  • Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
  • Basic knowledge of engineering principles and practices.
  • Experience working in multidisciplinary design & development teams
  • Understanding of requirements development and management, system design, systems integration, technical risk identification, management strategies, and Verification and Validation (V&V) principles
  • This position requires current/active Secret U.S. Security Clearance.
  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance for employment.

  • Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, Government, or US Military
