Description:• Coordinate activities of ATLO Logistics, Mechanical Leads, Manufacturing Engineers, and Mechanical Test Engineers Ensure high bay readiness, test procedures, FFMEA, and MWI releases meet ATLO execution requirements Execute mechanical activities to achieve schedule, cost, and technical objectives (e.g., spacecraft assembly, lifts, moves, mechanical & environmental tests) Organize post-launch ATLO close out activities, including tool and hardware disposition for future missions Maintain material readiness for ATLO assemblies Serve as liaison between program and production, establishing communication frameworks, synchronizing schedules, and identifying schedule risks/opportunities Capture lessons learned, codify best practices, and drive continuous process improvements

  • Ensure high bay readiness, test procedures, FFMEA, and MWI releases meet ATLO execution requirements
  • Execute mechanical activities to achieve schedule, cost, and technical objectives (e.g., spacecraft assembly, lifts, moves, mechanical & environmental tests)
  • Organize post-launch ATLO close out activities, including tool and hardware disposition for future missions
  • Maintain material readiness for ATLO assemblies
  • Serve as liaison between program and production, establishing communication frameworks, synchronizing schedules, and identifying schedule risks/opportunities
  • Capture lessons learned, codify best practices, and drive continuous process improvements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a closely related field or equivalent experience/education
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and test specifications for hardware verification
  • Fundamental knowledge of test engineering, operations, and related processes
  • Willingness to work overtime, including off shifts and, as mission needs dictate
  • U.S. citizenship (required for special access facility)
  • Certified Test Conductor (CTC) certification with exposure to baseline ambient, full functional, thermal vacuum, acoustic, EMC/EMI, final functional, and launch base operations
  • Experience with production manufacturing and assembly processes
  • Experience with production and test tools including Automation Framework, VE CAMs, and SAP
  • Experience coordinating Mechanical Ground Support Equipment (MGSE) usage
  • Experience authoring test plans, procedures, and other technical documentation
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; demonstrated ability to build cross-functional relationships and lead a team
  • Working knowledge of Lockheed Martin command media for test engineering
  • Track record of leading teams through successful test efforts, schedule management, and resource planning
