You will report directly to our Engineering Manager and you’ll work out of our Deer Valley, Phoenix, AZ location on a Hybrid work schedule. Join a team that designs, develops, and integrates highly complex avionics systems, to work on Automatic Flight Controls Systems for Business, Regional, and General Aviation platforms, from fixed-wing aircraft, to helicopter, and to future UAM/UAS, within the most advanced integrated flight deck Honeywell Anthem. You will be integral in creating system solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. You will be involved in every aspect of the systems lifecycle, from the front end of business development through product end of life.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (engineering, science, or technology).
  • 2 years of experience working on flight controls, avionics, or engineering programs, or a Master’s degree in an engineering discipline.
  • Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with all aspects of automatic flight control systems.
  • General avionics knowledge and experience.
  • Understanding of the systems or software development lifecycle.
  • Aerospace Engineering majors.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to adapt as dictated by program needs.
  • Effective communication skills.
