About The Position

In-Depth Engineering seeks Systems Engineers to support our work on the Future Long Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) program for the US Army. The FLRAA is the next-generation aircraft - modernizing aviation assets for vertical lift, air assault, maritime interdiction, aeromedical evacuation, combat search and rescue, humanitarian relief, and tactical resupply. The Systems Engineers will have experience with modeling and analysis, documentation, verification tests, and technical reviews. The work is conducted in Owego, NY, The work is performed in Owego, NY. Work schedule - Flex 4/10 Schedule or Flex 9/80 w/every other Friday off - or a straight 5/8. Qualified candidates must be U.S. Citizens with a valid U.S. Passport residing in New York. Requirements

  • Experience in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) – Preferably CAMEO
  • Experience with development of software requirements and working collaboratively with software engineers in the design, development, and test of software
  • Experience with the design, integration and test of systems and software operational programs
  • Knowledge of system design, requirements definition, and documentation
  • Knowledge of system verification/test documentation and conduct
  • Experience working on cross-functional teams (Hardware, Software, Integration/Test)
  • Programming skills in languages such as C, C++ or Python
  • Experience with Real Time Operating Systems
  • Qualified candidates must be U.S. Citizens with a valid U.S. Passport residing in New York.

Responsibilities

  • Perform systems engineering efforts on the FLRAA program
  • Developing systems, software, and subsystem requirements
  • Defining external and internal interfaces
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on software/hardware interfaces
  • Allocating requirements to various engineering disciplines
  • Support documentation and requirements verification
  • Creating test plans, test procedures, and reports
  • Executing integration, verification, and validation tests
