About The Position

TAP is seeking to hire an Engineering Technician to join our team! The Engineering Technician provides tier 2 and 3 system support. They assist the Government by providing large scale computer systems for hardware failures and applicable optimizations. Additionally, they provide management of board processes which include on-site and off-site depot coordination, troubleshooting and fault isolation. The position location is Ft. Meade, MD. The position requires 24x7x365 on-site monitoring and support. Nights, weekends, and holidays are eligible for shift premium wages.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI w/ full scope polygraph.
• Ability to support large scale computer system assembly, maintenance, troubleshooting, upgrades, and shipping.
• Ability to monitor, track, and provide status/alerts to support teams when issues arise.

Responsibilities

• Provide tier 2 and 3 system support.
• Assist the Government by providing large scale computer systems for hardware failures and optimizations.
• Manage board processes including on-site and off-site depot coordination.
• Troubleshoot and isolate faults in systems.
• Monitor, track, and provide status/alerts to support teams when issues arise.
• Support shifts within a 24x7x365 schedule including day, evening, night, weekend, and holiday shifts.
