About The Position

Systems Engineering Support Analyst (Mid-Level and Senior) Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Special Projects Dallas is seeking a highly motivated Systems Engineering Support Analyst (Mid-Level and Senior) with enhanced communication skills to handle the logistics for a dynamic hardware development site in Richardson, TX. The ideal candidate will have an extensive background in logistics, supply chain, mentorship, proposal development, procurement, and rework & repair of aircrew training simulators. Position Responsibilities: Research, analyze, and compile complex technical data at the system level to optimize effectiveness over the program lifecycle. Assist in the integration of technical, cost, value, risks, and specialty engineering considerations into definition of the products. Perform technical planning and control; maintain and improve processes and software tools. Oversee training, lead and mentor others. Develop System Level Top-Down-Break-Down (TDBD) to use as validation tool for other Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) deliverables. Conduct validation/verification review of system technical documentation as directed Interface with other members of the Program teams (Hardware & Software Engineers, Contracts, and Finance) and manage day to day operations to ensure success of all CDRL deliverables. Lead and administer post-production requests for quotes containing long lead times, high value and/or lengthy bills of material. Lead activities for economy of purchases. Lead and monitor customer allocation and delivery schedules and projections for significant customers. Lead the analysis of supplier and/or customer data regarding products or services to include repair capabilities, capacity and perform assessment of configuration change impacts to supply support system. Initiate recommendations for repair sourcing decisions. Oversee the processing and documentation of repair items and warranties. Conduct supplier/customer presentations and program reviews. Identifies Supply Chain alternatives to resolve obsolescence issues. This position does not allow telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Richardson, TX. This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

Requirements

  • Basic knowledge on use of CAPRs and GOLDesp (Level 3)
  • Basic knowledge on use of SCARS
  • Basic Knowledge on use of TEAM Center (Level 3)
  • Basic Knowledge on use of CMPro (Level 3)
  • Basic knowledge on use of Haystack/FedLog
  • 3+ years of experience working in the Logistics field (Level 3)
  • This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)
  • This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Nice To Haves

  • 5 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 15+ years of experience working in the Logistics field (Level 4)
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Advanced Knowledge on use of CAPRs and GOLDesp (Level 4)
  • Advanced Knowledge on use of TEAM Center (Level 4)
  • Advanced Knowledge on use of CMPro (Level 4)
