About The Position

Lead the F-35 Systems Engineering Team. Lead multiple sub-teams including Configuration Management, System Design, Lifecycle Management, and Verification, which are responsible for executing SE processes throughout the development, production, and sustainment lifecycles. Overall experience to include: System Design, Technical Management, Configuration Management, Lifecycle Management, and Verification. Responsible for ensuring consistent tools and metrics across the enterprise. Lead the F-35 Systems Engineering team to recruit, hire, develop, and maintain technical expertise needed to support successful program execution. Define standard work to ensure compliance to technical, safety and flight clearance requirements in delivery of products to program and government customers. Manage and report cost, schedule and technical earned value performance for the Systems Engineering team to internal and customer reviews. Ensure availability of resources to programs to manage prime subcontractors, associate contractors and partner companies to deliver Systems Engineering products on budget, on time, and to program requirements. Responsible for to include but not limited to: SE processes throughout the development, production, and sustainment lifecycles for the program Developing and maintaining system models using industry standard tool & languages (e.g., SysML, UML) Supporting product execution across the lifecycle of the Systems Engineering 'V' Integrate capability requirements among stakeholders, programs and LM Aero functions that span design, development, test, production, and sustainment. Must be a US Citizen. --This position is located at a facility that requires special access and a Secret clearance to start.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Strong understanding of Systems engineering principles & practices
  • Experience with agile development methodologies
  • Aircraft engineering experience.
  • Experience leading multi-discipline engineering teams through all aircraft program life cycles.
  • Experience engaging and presenting in senior executive level meetings.
  • This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
  • Secret clearance

Nice To Haves

  • 15 years of related aircraft engineering experience, with multiple years of experience on F-35
  • Engineering management experience including responsibility for program performance, cost, schedule and quality.
  • Experience with data analytics visualization tools
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Experience interfacing with Domestic and International customers.
  • Ability to obtain TS and SAPF security clearances.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with experience engaging and presenting in executive level meetings.
