Collins Aerospace, an RTX company, Protected Communication Systems (PCS) Team is currently seeking a motivated Systems Engineering Section Manager who is ready to lead a diverse, talented, and enthusiastic team of engineering professionals on-site in Marlborough, Massachusetts. The Systems Engineering Section Manager is a senior engineer on site, responsible for the engineering integrity of the systems, equipment and product covered by the contract. The Section Leader performs management activities and provides leadership for approximately 10-15 engineers supporting various site contracts. These activities include technical development of people, providing and identifying appropriate training for people, employee's performance reviews, setting goals, mentoring, salary planning, employee recognition and awards, benefits, Overhead and capital planning, EH&S, ethics, recruiting. As part of Collins Mission Systems, we specialize in developing advanced communication systems, ground and flight computers, sensors, cyber and software solutions, as well as providing integration of Mission Systems. As part of the PCS Department, the Systems Engineering department supports a variety of communications systems including Secure Switching Networks, SATCOM, and networking for ground based, ship, submarine, and airborne platforms.
