About The Position
Join Teledyne Imaging Sensors as a Systems Engineering Intern (Spring Semester)! Are you ready to launch your career to the next level? We’re the world’s leading provider of infrared sensors for space, with customers like NASA, ESA, and the US Department of Defense. What You’ll Do: Write Python code to modify FITS files. Use QFitsView to inspect the test data. Upload data to the SQL database. Use GitLab for version control. Analyze data using Microsoft PowerBI. Support Engineering Change process.
Requirements
- Available from January 2026 to May or June 2026 (can lead into summer).
- Must be proficient in Python and SQL.
- Must be detail-oriented and have strong verbal and presentation skills.
- Junior or Senior currently pursuing Bachelor's Degree, Master's, or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Astronomy, or related field.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen due to access restrictions.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with FITS file format, QFitsView software and Power BI is desired.
Responsibilities
