About The Position

Job Summary: Assists a multidisciplinary Engineering Team responsible for testing, design, development, and optimization of AAON products to meet market needs and user requirements. Supports the efforts to implement new products or product changes with AAON. Works with guidance from experienced engineers and/or Management responsible for running short-term projects. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: • Assist with performance testing of AAON products. • Assist with product definitions/specifications. • Reads and reviews electrical diagrams. • Evaluates, tests, and modifies unit components. • Prepares product reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. • Communicates new product information and IOM/Service Manual information to all necessary AAON departments. • Analyzes test data to determine products meet DOE, UL, and ANSI requirements. • Engage and assist in projects targeting quality, documentation, and production improvements. Education and Experience Requirements: Currently enrolled in an engineering program in a credited university. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • HVAC performance testing equipment. • Performance Simulation software (VapCyc, CiolDesigner,….etc) • Microsoft 365, emphasis in Excel • 3D modeling software (Solidworks, Solid Edge, AutoCAD… etc) • Programming language (optional) • DB Browser for SQLite (optional Work Environment: • Office and Test Lab work with a mix of trips to the shop floor for hands on learning. Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an engineering program in a credited university.
