About The Position

As a systems engineer for the General Dynamics Maritime & Strategic Systems business area, you’ll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for providing systems-level engineering integration on the world's most advanced torpedo systems. Test Procedure Development: Experience in creating detailed and executable test procedures for complex hardware. Tool Proficiency: Familiarity with tools such as DOORS, JIRA, or other requirements management and documentation software. Requirements

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field.
  • Also requires 2+ years of job-related experience or a Master's degree.
  • Department of Defense Secret security clearance is obtainable within a reasonable amount of time after hire.
  • Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
  • Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
