Peraton is seeking a Systems Engineering, Associate to support various programs within the Intelligence community in our St. Louis, MO office. The position will support the development of software-intensive systems for exciting projects that are crucial to our national defense. The target start date for this position is Summer 2025, contingent upon successfully obtaining the necessary security clearance as dictated by the government program. In this role, you will provide engineering support to the design, development, and testing of leading-edge technology solutions in areas such as cybersecurity, satellite ground systems, information management systems, cloud computing, and networking. You will work in a collaborative, team-oriented Agile software development environment, contributing to shaping the direction of the project. Your responsibilities will include supporting the software engineering life-cycle in areas such as requirements/story development and management, system architecture and design, component/system/operational testing, documentation development, security accreditation, system deployment, and IT support. You will perform analysis of alternatives through the collection and analysis of data, making recommendations to the customer based on your findings. Additionally, you will assess performance using evaluation criteria and technical performance measures, ensuring that the solutions developed meet the high standards expected in the field of national security.
