About The Position

Peraton is hiring a Customized Analytics Do-It-Yourself (DIY) Systems Engineer to join our Cyber Mission business unit in Jessup, MD. As a Systems Engineer on our team, you will support one of the largest enterprise-wide engineering contracts within the Intelligence Community. This is a full-time position requiring 1880 hours of support per year; and work is performed at a customer location. As a Customized Analytics Systems Engineer, you will provide enterprise-focused engineering support to a government Senior Operational Analytics Manager focusing on analysts’ workflow and tools, tradecraft, and platforms. The organization’s primary responsibility is Analytics’ Governance and transition to emerging platforms. Task activities include, but are not limited to, the following: Defining functional requirement, progress, gaps, challenges Oversight of DIY use and development Oversight of integration Availability and usability Architecture alignment and mission management #AJCM Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree in computer science, information systems, engineering or other related discipline plus at least 10 years of systems engineering experience. A Master’s degree or PhD may be substituted for two years of experience. A high school diploma or GED plus 14 years of systems engineering experience would also be acceptable.
  • Strong leadership skills due to program collaboration and integration
  • JIRA navigation
  • Polished systems engineer who is a self-starter
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Position requires an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
