About The Position

Raytheon is seeking an experienced Systems Engineering (SE) Advisor with a strong background in Testing Optimization. They will support the design, development, and execution of advanced testing strategies across complex hardware/software systems. This role will support system reliability, performance, and enhance efficiency while maintaining high quality results. This hybrid role is out of Andover, MA.

Requirements

  • Experience offering technical advice, support, and insights to help mentees navigate challenges and improve their skills.
  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) and minimum 14 years of relevant experience.
  • 14+ years of prior leadership experience within the systems engineering discipline.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and individual contributors across multiple work site locations.
  • Experience in mentoring and providing career development direction for engineers.
  • Experience in Test Systems Engineering or Testing Optimization, including test hardware/software development, integration, verification, validation, and maintenance within production/manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

  • Support and guide less experienced engineers in their professional development.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert across multiple programs and IRAD.
  • Ensure robust secure solutions are verified and validated in a fast-paced agile environment.
  • Collaborate with the product line Chief Engineer, Technical Director, Architect, Integrated Product Team Leads, and other discipline Team Leads.
  • Drive a scaled agile systems process working with product owners and functional leads.
  • Push teams toward new and innovative processes, tools, and a quality focused culture.
  • Derive requirements, architecture design, test planning and execution.
  • Implement agile processes and tools, lead bids and proposal work.
