The department offers a Master of Engineering in Systems Engineering, supported by prominent research centers such as the Systems Engineering Research Center (SERC) and the Center for Complex Systems & Enterprises (CCSE). We are seeking qualified A djunct s to teach Systems Engineering courses. Adjuncts are responsible for delivering course content, evaluating student performance, and fostering a positive, engaging learning environment.

  • Prepare and deliver lectures, assignments, and assessments in alignment with course objectives and department standards.
  • Facilitate student learning through clear instruction, meaningful discussions, and real-world applications.
  • Evaluate and grade student work in a timely , fair, and constructive manner.
  • Provide academic support through office hours or scheduled meetings.
  • Collaborate with the department chair and faculty to ensure course consistency and quality.
  • Submit final grades and any required reports by established deadlines.
  • Stay current with developments in the field and incorporate relevant content into the course as appropriate .
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is
  • Professional experience in systems engineering or a related industry .
  • Strong communication and organizational skills .
  • Ability to engage and support a diverse student population.
  • a Master’s or Ph.D. in Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline is strongly preferred.
  • Prior teaching experience at the college or graduate level is preferred.
