About The Position

SAIC is seeking a talented Systems Engineer to support NSWC Crane Hypersonic programs. This hybrid/flexwork position requires candidates to be in the office approximately 3 days a week, focusing on various systems engineering activities to ensure the successful development and integration of hypersonic systems.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Engineering Discipline (aerospace, mechanical, or electrical preferred) and 2 or more years' experience; Master's degree and 0 years experience
• Experience designing prototypes or ensuring that design met functional tests from procurement to validation/verification
• Interim secret clearance required to start with the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance

Nice To Haves

• MBSE experience (Cameo is preferred)
• Experience in product design, procurement, or production floor engineering

Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate Technical Data Packages
• Participate in Systems Engineering Technical Reviews (SETRs) Design and Model Reviews
• Assist with various systems engineering activities including concept of operations formulation
• Requirements definition
• Technical analyses and trade studies
• System architecting, analysis and design
• System performance analysis
• Interface management
• Systems integration planning
• Validation and verification activities
• Drawing and Model Reviews
• Preparing engineering plans and process instructions
