Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field; or a combination of education and experience.
  • Four years of Information Technology Experience.
  • Working knowledge of personal computer hardware and software.
  • Working knowledge of local area networks, Wi-Fi connectivity, network and server virtualization, Windows server and desktop operating systems, on-premises and cloud technologies, and mobile devices required.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to function effectively in the workplace as exhibited through one's integrity, courage to act and communication skills.
  • Ability to work with others effectively as exhibited through one's respect for people and commitment to teamwork.
  • Ability to meet organizational goals and customer expectations as exhibited through one's accountability for results, commitment to service and initiative.

Responsibilities

  • Provide intermediate to advanced level installation, administration, and troubleshooting support of personal computer hardware and software solutions in use throughout the company.
  • Assist with the administration and support of network infrastructure components such as switches, WiFi devices, server operating systems, virtualization, and data storage and backup systems.
  • Assist with the administration of on-premises and cloud technologies in support of business applications.
  • Evaluate new hardware and software for use within the company.
  • Maintain good working knowledge of industry trends and technologies.
