About The Position

Ops Consulting is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to support mission-critical cybersecurity modernization efforts. This position plays a pivotal role in analyzing, designing, and integrating complex systems. As a key technical leader, you will guide systems engineering activities, drive security-by-design strategies, and collaborate with elite cybersecurity teams to defend against emerging threats. The Systems Engineer shall be responsible for constructing, annotating, and publishing results throughout Phase 1. This includes configuring Docker containers to operate various AI models within both classified and unclassified networks and ensuring that CSSP monitoring tools can effectively observe these systems. They will dedicate considerable effort to integrating our AI detection capabilities into existing CSSP security tools, including developing custom Splunk data inputs, formulating Suricata rules for AI traffic patterns, and creating automated workflows within the IC. A significant aspect of their responsibilities involves bridging the gap between the AI domain and security operations, assisting CSSP analysts in comprehending system behaviors when AI functions deviate from traditional applications. Additionally, they will document all processes in accordance with systems engineering standards to ensure traceability of requirements from testing scenarios to actual security objectives. About the Mission: Modernize and strengthen cybersecurity operations, defending national interests against sophisticated cyber threats. We lead engineering and authorization services for some of the world's most complex and secure systems. Our teams work across three primary organizations: Enterprise Cybersecurity Services Organization – Delivers agile, end-to-end cybersecurity capabilities that enable secure operations. Authorization Services Organization – Embeds security from the ground up, integrating protections early in the SDLC. Global Cryptologic Enterprise – Supports continuous monitoring, incident response, and technical threat analysis across all classification levels. Join us and be a part of something greater — where your work truly matters.
