Leidos has an opening for a Secret cleared Systems Engineer in support of the DCGS-N systems engineering efforts in North Charleston, SC. Seeking a Systems Engineer to support the Distributed Common Ground System, Navy (DCGS-N) Family of Systems (FoS). DCGS-N is the Navy's premier Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) processing system. The successful applicant will be a major contributor to intelligence software integration in PMW 120's System Engineering Division. Candidates should possess an administrator-level understanding of n-tier Enterprise applications (DB, app server, and client) architecture/management as well as the capacity to develop detailed installation procedures and/or automation. Primary Responsibilities: Integration, automation, configuration, and documentation of software and tools to support the Infrastructure and Platform Services product team. Supports software deployments, cloud infrastructure baselines, and operational availability of production systems. Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or Ansible, automating provisioning and scaling of resources across environments. Perform analysis on systems to document all functions and define interfaces for integration, testing and quality assurance. Manage and optimize GitLab-based Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, including configuration, troubleshooting, and integration with workflows to ensure efficient deployments. At Leidos, we don’t want someone who "fits the mold"—we want someone who melts it down and builds something better. This is a role for the restless, the over-caffeinated, the ones who ask, “what’s next?” before the dust settles on “what’s now.” If you’re already scheming step 20 while everyone else is still debating step 2… good. You’ll fit right in.
