About The Position

DMI, LLC is seeking a Systems Engineer to join us. The Systems Engineer will provide technical support, focusing on end-user computing environments, system configuration, and IT service delivery for users at the Pentagon and Mark Center. This role supports mission-critical operations by ensuring systems are secure, reliable, and compliant with DoD standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in systems engineering or desktop engineering in a DoD or federal environment.
  • Clearance: Active DoD Secret (TS/SCI preferred)
  • CompTIA Security+ certification
  • Strong knowledge of Windows OS, system imaging, patch management, and endpoint security.
  • Familiarity with DoD STIGs, NISPOM, and DISA security policies.
  • Experience with enterprise ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow).
  • Excellent problem-solving and documentation skills.
  • Experience supporting VIP or executive-level users.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen

Responsibilities

  • Provide engineering support for desktop and mobile computing systems, including configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting.
  • Ensure systems are compliant with DoD cybersecurity requirements, including installation and verification of Data-at-Rest (DAR) encryption and secure configurations.
  • Support the integration of new technologies and software into the enterprise environment.
  • Collaborate with help desk and VIP support teams to resolve escalated technical issues.
  • Maintain documentation of system configurations, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and work instructions (WIs).
  • Assist in the planning and execution of system upgrades, patches, and lifecycle refreshes.
  • Participate in asset management activities, including tagging, tracking, and disposition of IT equipment.
  • Provide technical input for process improvements and participate in working groups as needed.
