Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field or a Microsoft 365/Azure certification.
  • 8 or more years of recent IT experience, with at least 4 years as an engineer installing, upgrading, managing, and administering Microsoft servers and network equipment.
  • Experience with Active Directory.
  • Experience in small business or K-12 environments.

Nice To Haves

  • VMware experience.
  • Hyper-V experience.
  • Experience with SAN technologies.
  • Experience with VOIP systems.
  • Command-line networking experience.

Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, upgrade, and administer Microsoft Windows Server environments (Server 2025 and earlier).
  • Install, upgrade, and administer network devices, including SonicWall, Palo Alto, Fortigate, routers, and switches.
  • Perform migrations of mail and files to Office 365, including SharePoint and OneDrive.
  • Install and support hyperconverged server solutions.
  • Install and support SAN storage solutions.
  • Troubleshoot all areas of network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN connectivity, backups, desktops/laptops, printers, applications, and mobile devices.
  • Provide technical oversight, documentation, and guidance to business owners and managers.
  • Coordinate efforts with external vendors.
