About The Position

As a Systems Engineer (Sr Sys Engr) for the Trident II D5LE2 program, you’ll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for developing, modeling, and coordinating requirements for the next generation Fire Control System. We encourage you to apply if you have any of these preferred skills or experiences: Magicdraw Modeling, Leading Teams, or Systems Development.

Requirements

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field.
• Also requires 2+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree and 6 months of job-related experience.
• Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required within a reasonable period of time.
• Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
• Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Nice To Haves

• Agile experience preferred.
• D5LE2 missile or SLBM experience
• FCS experience
• US Navy's Columbia-class or Ohio-class submarine experience
• Clear understanding of systems engineering concepts, principles, theories, and technical standards
• Clear understanding of requirements management and system modeling tools
• Creative thinker with ability to grasp and apply new information quickly and handle increasing responsibilities with growing complexity
