The Systems engineer would have a general systems engineering background and experience. Duties/Responsibilities: The candidate engineer may be responsible for some or all the following: Collaborate with program IPT counterparts to develop supporting systems engineering and design artifacts Work with technical teams to develop system architecture (behavioral, physical, logical) and associated DoDAF views, using PTC Modeler software Help maintain requirements database in DOORS and integrate new system requirements with mission partner technology integration. Ensure requirements are properly captured and traced in system model. Contribute to system requirements development, management, and analysis Facilitate weekly working groups, which includes collecting agenda items, sending agenda to participants, generating meeting minutes, and disseminating to participants. Facilitate Engineering Review Boards (ERBs) and Configuration Control Boards (CCBs), which requires communication across program IPTs and subcontractor, mission partner, and customer coordination. This requisition may be filled at either the Systems Engineer (level 2) or Principal Systems Engineer (level 3) depending on experience and qualifications.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a Engineering or related STEM discipline
Minimum of 2 years (level 2) or 5 years (level 5) of relevant experience
U.S. Citizenship
Active or current Top Secret level clearance and the ability to obtain SCI level access at time of application.
1+ years of experience developing or reviewing requirements within DOORS or similar tool
1+ year experience in team environments with leadership responsibilities
1+ year experience creating, updating, and maintaining system performance documentation

Prior experience in customer-facing settings is a plus
Experience with implementing and using model-based systems engineering (MBSE) tools, practices, and methods
Strong understanding and broad application of complex engineering systems (engineering standards, configuration management, material review board, process control, tooling, facilities, software, etc.) for the development of complex systems of systems
Strong oral and written communication skills, including demonstrated experience with high value customer presentations, with ability to focus on multiple projects with competing priorities
Familiarity with DevSecOps and continuous integration/ continuous deployment (CI/CD) is a plus
