Cimarron Software Services is seeking mid-level to senior-level Systems Engineers to support the Engineering and Manufacturing Development (EMD) phase of the Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD)/Sentinel program. Cimarron provides engineering and technical support to Bechtel for the design, construction, and integration of the Sentinel launch systems at locations to include Vandenberg AFB, CA, F.E. Warren AFB, WY, Malmstrom AFB, MT, and Minot AFB, ND. Sentinel is a vital US Air Force program that will recapitalize the nation's aging ground based leg of the nuclear triad -- the Minuteman III Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM). The selected candidates for these positions will execute systems engineering and configuration management activities, including management, organization, and verification of complex design requirements, within a Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) environment for Department of Defense (DOD) projects and United States Air Force (USAF) projects. The Systems Engineers play a critical role in the delivery of the Requirements Management and MBSE program work products and designs, as well as for coordination of the scope and integration of work with internal and external stakeholders. The successful candidates must have strong organizational and teamwork skills, proven problem-solving abilities, a can-do attitude, and the desire to innovate designs. This is an on-site position that offers a 9X80 work schedule (i.e., every other Friday off), paid overtime, and a great work/life balance.
