Requirements

  • Advanced degree and 0 years experience or bachelor's degree and 0-2+ years' experience or equivalent
  • Must meet DoD 8570 Information Assurance Workforce (IAWF) criteria or information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II certification at time of hire (i.e., Security+)
  • Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for clearance at this location.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive support to the MASC team, including: Systems administration and help desk expertise for sustainment/development environments on MASC, covering Windows, Solaris, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, and other operating systems.
  • Configuration, data management, and software builds using Change Management (CM) tools.
  • Collaboration with functional teams to resolve findings/issues and participate in Agile activities.
  • Development and application of cybersecurity solutions, ensuring compliance with computer security policy and Risk Management Framework (RMF).
  • Performance of software installs, updates, and patches, including troubleshooting and support.
  • Maintenance and development of documentation, including Version Description Documents (VDDs) and job aides.
  • Support for Digital Transformation activities, CDRL preparations, and ad hoc MASC projects.
  • Generation and documentation of metrics, tracking and documenting all efforts.
  • Travel to remote sites as needed to perform efforts.
  • Provision of support across the program information systems, including troubleshooting and remediation of issues.
  • Provide Ground Controller support for operations including but not limited to: Resetting user passwords, adjusting satellite position, monitor telemetry systems, resolve communication issues, support data center operations.
