Peraton is seeking a Systems Engineer to join our Cyber Mission business unit in Annapolis Junction, MD. Our team develops and supports multiple solutions that automate manual processes, enabling mission customers to focus on complex, high-value challenges. We follow Agile methodologies and DevOps principles to ensure the delivery of high-quality, reliable software. This position is based at a contractor facility, offering flexible work schedules. Telework options may also be available, depending on tasking and customer approval. As a Systems Engineer you will play a critical role in translating mission needs into system capabilities. You will: Analyze user needs and draft Concept of Operations (CONOPS) documents. Apply high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications. Analyze system requirements and support system design and development activities. Guide users in formulating requirements, provide recommendations on alternative approaches, and conduct feasibility studies. Plan and execute system verification and validation activities. Additional Responsibilities: Lead system development and implementation planning, including the preparation and assessment of system integration and test plans. Serve as a key technical liaison to the Government, addressing Systems Engineering considerations, issues, and risks. Collaborate closely with program personnel and government stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful delivery.
