This position is an innovative and hands-on technical role responsible for the planning, deployment, implementation, and administration of organization-wide systems, servers, and technical processes. The Systems Engineer works collaboratively both with IT and Cross functional teams to support reliable, secure, and compliant IT operations that enable clinical and administrative staff. The role evaluates and recommends infrastructure solutions, projects, and priorities while ensuring alignment with HIPAA, and corporate security standards. This is an on-site role - Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm

  • Plans and coordinates new systems and platforms' deployment processes, and schedules sequence.
  • Ensures software and hardware systems are configured, fully deployed, and functioning as intended.
  • Responsible for analysis, acquisition, implementation, installation, and maintenance of new enterprise solutions. (Servers, Storage, Virtualization)
  • Documents processes, procedures, and system configurations in alignment with IT governance practices.
  • Provides Tier II/III escalation support for complex technical issues and assists the help desk as needed.
  • Acts as a technical liaison with external vendors and service providers for system-related projects or escalations.
  • Manages the design, and implementation of mobile device management system (MDM) policies, profiles, applications, and configurations, including Security and Compliance, supporting various clinical, corporate, and executive Android and iOS-based smartphones and tablets.
  • Develops, implements, and maintains security baselines, patch management, and vulnerability remediation practices.
  • Design and implement a process for OS deployment and maintenance.
  • Manages company-wide application update repository for all organization workstations.
  • Collaborate with the team to maintain IT Systems including but not limited to tablets, laptops, desktops, servers, and other hardware devices including servers, AV equipment, phones, etc.
  • Acts as a liaison on behalf of the organization with external technology vendors.
  • Demonstrates the ability to apply technology in an enterprise environment.
  • Exhibits strong communication skills within the IT Department and with other departments and at all levels.
  • Performs other duties as required.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science (or related field) preferred
  • Valid Driver's License, free of serious violations, and vehicle required for use when on duty.
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Systems Engineer, Systems Administrator, or in a similar infrastructure role.
  • Experience in a healthcare IT or regulated environment preferred.
  • 3-5 years of administrative experience working with a mobile device management (MDM) platform.
  • 3-5 years' experience with an enterprise-wide imaging solution; Microsoft SCCM or Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT)
  • 3+ years of experience managing Windows Server environments and Active Directory, Entra.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 and Azure cloud administration.
  • Experience with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), backup/recovery (Veeam), and disaster recovery planning.
  • Familiarity with IT security practices, identity management, and compliance frameworks
  • Experience with Managing O365 e-mail and Microsoft Exchange Hybrid environments
  • Possess critical thinking skills, proficiency in organizing resources and establishing priorities, and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects while minimizing downtime for clinical operations
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills and written communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and support mission-driven care delivery.
  • Must be able to handle diverse work problems daily with the ability to resolve problems and handle conflict as part of a team.
  • Knowledge and understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, virtualization, Active Directory, and Group Policy
  • Provides timely, appropriate, and knowledgeable responses to partners; creates a stress-free atmosphere for users to ask questions and share concerns.
  • Friendly enthusiastic self-starter and effective collaborator.
  • Understanding of IT security practices, patch management, and vulnerability mitigation.
  • Commitment to confidentiality, integrity, and compliance with corporate standards.
  • Knowledge of proper change management process and project management.
  • Typical office setting. May experience eye and repetitive motion strain from work on the computer.
  • Position requires sitting, standing, bending, and reaching along with a normal range of hearing and vision.
  • Must be able to operate standard office equipment such as computers, mobile devices, phones, copiers, scanners, printers, or related items.
  • May be called upon to work beyond the normal workday.
  • ITIL Foundation Certification (preferred).
  • MCSA/MCSE (preferred)
