Summary/Objectives The Systems Engineer is responsible for the installation and configuration of RJ Young's current software portfolio in a client environment. Complete proper documentation; log time and project information inside of the helpdesk software (currently ConnectWise). Resolve customers' reported issues remotely. Effectively use time management for the benefit of the company and client. Effectively communicate with customers to ensure project timelines and objectives are met. Escalate customer problems to proper entity. Document daily activity and time utilization. Attend project meetings as required. Follow proper warranty procedures. Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. This position will work in systems (DocuWare, PSICapture, Uniflow, and Papercut) and the components are based on IIS confirmations and generally use SQL database backend. Physical Demands Ability to sit at a computer for prolonged periods of time.
