Lockheed Martin is a global security and aerospace company that employs approximately 120,000 people worldwide and is principally engaged in the research, design, development, manufacture, integration, and sustainment of advanced technology systems, products, and services. Lockheed Martin (LM) Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) is looking for engineering professionals to work on the Trusted Security Solutions (TSS) program to engineer Cross-Domain Solution (CDS) products. This position is for a Systems Engineer/Installer on the Radiant Mercury product within the TSS program. Radiant Mercury is the US Navy's premier CDS product and LM has been the prime contractor for over 20 years. At LM we engineer innovative solutions to deliver resilient systems, products, and services across evolving cyber threats. Strong, resiliency-focused engineering is essential to protecting customer platform/weapon systems from increasingly sophisticated threats. The Radiant Mercury program delivers secure cross-domain solutions to our customers, enabling the controlled transfer of information between different security domains. This role is critical in safeguarding the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of these mission-essential systems. The Radiant Mercury (RM) program is looking for systems engineering professionals to work on Cross-Domain Solution (CDS) products that protect and defend the information flow of critical and time sensitive data on many military applications and networks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background on Software development programs, a willingness to learn new technologies, and be able to support all phases of the CDS development, configuration, and deployment process. You should be a well-rounded production engineer that has experience with hardware, networking, software deployment, and system administration. You will collaborate closely with project management, systems engineers, systems integration and test engineers as well as software engineers to coordinate various types of tasks. You should expect to learn necessary skills through hands on experiences and should work well in a team. You will travel frequently to customer sites and be “the face of the program” to the customer; ensuring system deployments and security evaluations go smoothly. If selected, you will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. The primary work location is at the Deer Creek Facility (DCF) in Littleton, Colorado with limited ability to work remotely. The candidate will primarily be required to come into the office or travel to customer sites to conduct their work.
