We are seeking a skilled Systems Engineer with Managed Service Provider (MSP) experience to design, implement, and support modern cloud and hybrid IT environments. This role will focus heavily on Microsoft 365, Azure, and client-facing infrastructure support. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced, multi-client environments and enjoys solving complex technical challenges while delivering exceptional customer service. Candidates must live on the East Coast. This position features quarterly travel. #LAT

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a Tier II/III escalation resource for client environments across multiple industries.
  • Design, deploy, and support cloud and hybrid infrastructure solutions.
  • Proactively monitor systems, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and performance.
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term solutions.
  • Administer and support Microsoft 365 environments including:
  • Exchange Online
  • SharePoint Online
  • Teams
  • OneDrive
  • Intune & Endpoint Manager
  • Manage tenant migrations, upgrades, and ongoing optimization.
  • Implement security and compliance features such as Conditional Access, MFA, and DLP.
  • Deploy and manage Azure resources including VMs, networking, storage, and identity.
  • Design and support hybrid environments using Azure AD and on-prem Active Directory.
  • Implement backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
  • Assist with Azure cost optimization and best practices.
  • Lead or support infrastructure and cloud migration projects.
  • Create technical documentation, diagrams, and SOPs.
  • Collaborate with project managers and clients to deliver solutions on time and within scope.
  • Implement and maintain security standards and patch management.
  • Conduct vulnerability remediation and system hardening.
  • Support compliance frameworks and security audits when required.
  • Provide excellent client communication and technical guidance.
  • Translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Participate in on-call rotation as needed.
