The Mission Leidos is seeking a Systems Engineer to develop/review documents and guidance for the Air Force’s Integrated Defensive Cyberspace System (IDCS) Program. The Systems Engineer would work under the Senior Systems Engineer to create design/integration Courses of Action (COAs), System Specifications, Analysis of Alternatives (AoAs), Risk Management, and System Engineering Plans (SEPs) documents for various projects. Primary Tasks This role is responsible for project level technical integration baseline and assessments associated with documentation, system hardware-software-network design, development and integration, verification, and validation. Evaluates alternatives including cost and risk, supportability and analyses for total systems. Duties include researching and documenting systems requirements analysis, functional analysis, timeline analysis, trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition, technical management, integration, and quality assurance. Works with a team to achieve objectives set forth by the PMO with significant impact on operational process or project outcomes.
