  • Translate real-world needs into technical specifications.
  • Enhance training, analysis, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Improve cybersecurity and standardization of simulator components.
  • Leverage modular open systems architecture.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to address operational challenges.
  • Drive innovation and advance mission capabilities through data analysis and optimization.
  • 5+ years of experience in Department of Defense simulation and training environments.
  • Experience with standards such as High-Level Architecture (HLA), Distributed Interactive Simulation (DIS), and Open Mission Systems (OMS).
  • Experience applying the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and implementing DoD security controls.
  • Ability to architect, integrate, and manage complex systems across distributed simulation environments.
  • Ability to provide constructive feedback on Air Force standards.
  • Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or Computer Science field.
  • IAT Level II Certification.
  • Experience with Air Force or DoD acquisitions, program planning, and coordination.
  • Experience with Microsoft Project and Excel.
  • Experience with cloud technology, software virtualization, and containerization.
  • Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), SysML, and Digital Engineering (DE).
  • Experience with LAN or WAN infrastructure and network hardware.
  • Knowledge of systems engineering and standards processes based on the Systems Engineering Body of Knowledge (SeBoK).
  • Possession of excellent communication and public speaking skills.
  • Top Secret clearance.
