This is a Remote position and requires 50% or more travel, and the candidate must live in or near the Sacramento area or be willing to relocate at their own expense. The Systems Engineer is a trusted advisor that provides customer and/or partner focused technical sales support and technical management with all the accounts within the territory. You will work along with the Territory Account Manager(s) and/or a Partner Account Manager to sell RUCKUS networking solutions through a network of channel partners. The position of Systems Engineer will perform consultative solutions-based discussions to all levels of decision makers and will also provide technical demos, architectural and best practice designs, proof of concept trials, training, and presentations for customers, partners, prospects and at differing RUCKUS and industry level events. The successful candidate will be a proficient self-starter, with strong technical skills, in-depth industry knowledge, and excellent written and verbal communication skills with proven experience as a customer or partner facing Systems Engineer communicating at all levels. The preferred candidate will also possess working knowledge of the RUCKUS wireless and wired portfolio and related technologies.
