As a Systems Engineer (SE) with MTSI you will enable mission-critical capabilities for a customer essential to the national security of the United States.
Analyze user's requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements and specification.
Analyze system requirements and lead design and development activities.
Guide users in formulating requirements, advise alternate approaches, and conduct feasibility studies.
Provide technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology.
Incorporate new plans, designs and systems into ongoing operations.
Develop technical documentation.
Develop system architecture and system design documentation.
Guide system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plans.
Interact with the government regarding systems engineering technical considerations and for associated opportunities, problems, issues, or conflicts.
Ensure the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the systems engineering area of responsibility.
Communicate with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives.
Senior Systems Engineer - 20+ years of experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required.
Principal Systems Engineer - 14+ years of experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required.
Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. (Note: Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.)
Exceptional integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to upholding MTSI's core values is required.
Demonstrated experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts is required.
Demonstrated experience related to software development and AWS cloud migration services is highly desired.
