About The Position

The position involves a combination of pre-sales and post-sales responsibilities, focusing on technical support and customer education. The candidate will be required to assist in qualifying sales leads from a technical standpoint and act as the main technical resource during sales calls. This includes educating customers on various technical issues related to features, specifications, functionality, and integration of networking applications and solutions. After the sale, the candidate will serve as the lead technical contact for identified accounts, working closely with the technical support team and engineering to address and resolve any technical issues that arise. Additionally, the candidate will provide post-sales training to identified customers.

Requirements

  • Field sales experience.
  • Experience in technical/pre-sales support as a sales or systems engineer.
  • Experience in LAN/WAN/Internet services administration.
  • Experience with Wireless technologies, including deploying, supporting, and conducting site surveys.
  • Solid understanding of Wireless Authentication technologies.
  • Exceptional understanding of DNS and NFS, SMTP, HTTP, TCP/IP.
  • Knowledge of Routing, Switching, VPN, LAN, WAN, Network Security, Intrusion Detection, and Anti Virus technologies.
  • Solid understanding of RADIUS, PKI, IKE, Certificates, L2TP, IPSEC, FIREWALL, 802.1Q, MD5, SSH, SSL, SHA1, DES, 3DES protocols.
  • Experience with encryption and authentication technologies.

  • Certifications: CCIE, CISSP

Responsibilities
