Apply systems engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, design, develop, implement, test, and evaluate multi-domain awareness systems in remote international locations, subjected to extreme environmental conditions for continued improvement and maximum effectiveness in real world applications. Review and prepare system engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical documentation. Apply system engineering experience to perform functions such as system integration, configuration management, quality assurance testing, or acquisition and resource management. Analyze, design, develop, implement, test or evaluate automated data processing software related to engineering or functional requirements of multi-domain awareness systems, associated support systems, or management information systems. May act as team leader or supervisor developing engineering procedures and controls, managing project efforts, and taking the lead in problem resolution. Interfaces with system or program contractors, vendors, and government representatives regarding the technical aspects of both the software and hardware components of the entire system. May perform duties as a trainer.

  • Degree and experience must be in engineering, computer science, math or physics.
  • A minimum of 5 years of systems engineering experience.
  • Background in computer programming is required.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance.
  • US citizenship is required to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
