Reporting to the Director, Technical Services, you will work with a team of seven at The Cheesecake Factory support center in Calabasas Hills, CA. As a Systems Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting the daily operations and systems infrastructure services for both our corporate and restaurant locations across a global $3.6 billion public company with over 350 full-service restaurants and more than 47,900 staff members.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in Infrastructure Planning: Design and implement enterprise-class systems infrastructure for critical applications across a global environment.
  • Develop continuous improvement strategies for Corporate and Restaurant services.
  • Design, deploy and manage all engineering aspects of the entire Intune environment, including Auto Pilot and third party application patching and compliance.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure issues, providing root cause analysis and solutions for continuous improvement.
  • Oversee proactive monitoring, capacity planning, and performance analysis for server, cloud, and storage environments.
  • Create short- and long-term plans for systems engineering and present proposals to senior leadership.
  • Act as Level 3 support for escalations and provide training to junior staff.
  • Ensure systems meet security standards, including PCI and SOX compliance, and maintain clear, up-to-date systems documentation.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of Systems Engineering experience with Windows Server (2008/2012/2016) in VMware, Active Directory, and core infrastructure (e.g., PKI, Okta, SAML).
  • Expertise designing and managing Microsoft Intune deployments, including administration of Intune (Endpoint Manager), Auto Pilot deployment / support and Group Policy Management.
  • Experience in AWS or Azure with multi-cloud environments strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in systems automation (PowerShell, Shell Scripting) and management tools like SCCM and Solarwinds.
  • Networking Knowledge in DHCP, DNS, VPNs, and Firewalls, with experience in VMware NSX as a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills for conveying technical information to diverse audiences.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Experience with multi-cloud and hyper-converged platforms, along with SCCM, Puppet, Chef, and vCloud Automation.
