Tier One Technologies is seeking a Systems Engineer with Windows Packaging and Automation experience. This hybrid Contract-to-Hire position will be located in Raleigh, NC. Must be a US citizen. SELECTED CANDIDATES WITHOUT REQUIRED CLEARANCE WILL BE SUBJECT TO A FEDERAL GOVERNMENT BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION TO RECEIVE IT.

  • Develop and test automated scripts and processes for software deployment and data gathering.
  • Manage deployments to distributed systems.
  • Maintain infrastructure with latest updates and patching.
  • Research, design, and recommend solutions to meet requirements.
  • Provide support and troubleshoot issues quickly.
  • Develop and document processes and procedures
  • A degree from an accredited College/University in the applicable field of services is required. If the individual's degree is not in the applicable field, then 4 additional years of related experience
  • 8-12 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong automation, scripting, and packaging skills for administration, automation of processes, and issue resolution.
  • Prior experience authoring scripts using PowerShell 5 and batch.
  • Prior experience performing remote deployments and integration of Windows 10 or 11 systems in a distributed environment.
  • Solid knowledge of Windows 10 and 11 Operating Systems.
  • Strong knowledge of SCCM/MECM (Configuration Manager).
  • Working knowledge of networking concepts and secure protocols.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft’s Active Directory and Group Policies.
  • Must be a US Citizen and be able to obtain a Position of Public Trust Clearance.
  • Must have resided in the US for the last 5 years.
  • Must not have traveled outside the US for a combined total of 6 months or more in the last 5 years. Military Service excluded.
  • Working knowledge of Tanium is desirable (not required).
  • Effective written and oral communication skills and ability to develop clear and concise documentation.
